Daily operation
How to prepare and maintain Hhuhu.
Fill the removable tank with compatible purified water, dispense on demand and clean the tank every two weeks.
Prepare compatible water
Use purified, distilled or RO water at room temperature with TDS of 5 or below.
Fill and seat the 3 L tank
Remove the rear tank, fill it, and return it firmly to the slot. Keep enough space behind the 476 mm-deep machine for this movement.
Dispense a glass
Place a glass below the outlet and press dispense. The cycle stops after about 15 seconds, or press again to stop sooner.
Clean the tank every two weeks
Wash with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and air-dry before reinstalling. Wipe—not immerse—the powered base.
The temporary white cloud
Watch the fine bubbles form.
Fine bubbles give freshly dispensed water a milky-white appearance. The water clears naturally as the bubbles rise.
The cloud shows suspended bubbles. Dissolved hydrogen is measured separately.
Hydrogen measurement
How to read Hhuhu’s hydrogen output.
Hhuhu’s headline figure combines dissolved hydrogen and suspended bubble form. For a direct product comparison, use dissolved-H₂ readings taken under equivalent conditions.

Equivalent conditions make comparisons between machines meaningful. A visible cloud, ORP value or combined figure is not a substitute for a direct dissolved-H₂ result.
Source-water requirements
Use compatible purified water.
Hhuhu has no tap-water filter and requires purified, distilled or RO source water within the operating limit.
Purified source water
Start with purified, distilled or RO water at TDS 5 or below.
Fill the removable tank
The 3 L rear tank lifts out for filling and fortnightly cleaning.
Prepare hydrogen water
Press once to begin a dispense cycle of about 15 seconds.
Controls and reset
Simple controls, with a reset when needed.
The control panel starts dispensing, shows machine status and lets you purge air when flow slows.
Power light
The machine is connected to power.
Operating light
The machine is producing hydrogen-enriched water.
Red water indicator
The tank may need water or air may be present in the internal line.
Dispense button
Starts or stops dispensing; automatic stop is about 15 seconds.
RESET button
Purges air if flow slows or the water no longer turns temporarily white.
Reset sequence
Empty cup below. Hold RESET for two seconds. Allow about 20 seconds.Resume normal use only if the issue clears. If the red indicator or flow problem continues, stop and contact Velta Malaysia.

Local warranty support
Manufacturing defects are covered under normal household use. Improper use, unsuitable water, unauthorised repair, modification and normal consumable wear are excluded.

01Is Hhuhu a water purifier?

No. Hhuhu enriches compatible source water with molecular hydrogen; it does not filter Malaysian tap water. It requires purified, distilled or RO water within the operating limit, plus a separate purifier if the household does not already have a suitable source.
02Can I use tap, mineral or alkaline water in Hhuhu?

No. Use room-temperature purified, distilled or RO water with TDS of 5 or below. Do not fill Hhuhu with tap, mineral or alkaline water.
03What does the temporary white appearance mean?

It comes from micro- and nano-sized bubbles suspended in the water and fades naturally as gas is released. Dissolved-H₂ concentration is measured separately.
04Is the 10,000 ppm figure dissolved hydrogen?

No. It is presented as a combined dissolved-plus-bubble figure, not a direct dissolved-H₂ reading. For a useful comparison, use dissolved-H₂ results measured with the same method, source water, temperature and time after dispensing.
05What should I do if the red indicator stays on?

Check the tank level and seating first. If there is enough water, place an empty cup below the outlet, hold RESET for two seconds and allow the purge to run for about 20 seconds. If the issue continues, stop using the machine and contact Velta Malaysia.
06How often does the tank need cleaning?

Clean the removable tank every two weeks with mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly and air-dry. Wipe the main unit with a soft damp cloth; do not immerse it or use alcohol, solvents or abrasives.
07Does Hhuhu need replacement filters?

No scheduled replacement filter is required because Hhuhu is not a purifier. The removable tank needs fortnightly cleaning, while other inspection or servicing is handled as needed.
08What does research say about hydrogen water?

Human research is still developing and uses varied devices, doses and protocols. Hhuhu is a wellness appliance, not a treatment for disease; use the linked evidence review and speak with a qualified clinician about medical decisions.
