Installation overview
A slim purifier still needs permanent connections.
The 180 mm front width is only one part of the fit. HydroForm+ needs a planned route for feed water, reject water and electrical power.
Primary constraint
The body is 180 mm wide and 425 mm deep. Allow additional rear and overhead clearance for pipework, ventilation and normal operation.
Permanent services
Plan a suitable cold-water inlet with isolation, an RO reject-water drain and accessible protected power at the final location.
Ongoing access
HydroForm+ does not sparkle or hide below the worktop. Keep filters, connections and the complete pipe route serviceable after handover.
Six site checks
Plan the appliance and its service routes together.
Do not drill or conceal pipework until the final position and future maintenance access are agreed.
Measure the full counter zone
Confirm the 180 × 425 mm footprint, overhead height, front dispensing room and additional clearance for ventilation and pipe bends.
Identify the cold-water inlet
Photograph the intended feed and isolation point. Confirm the route can be shut off and serviced without emptying the cupboard.
Plan the RO reject drain
Agree a secure drain connection and continuously falling route. Keep tubing protected from kinks, heat, sharp edges and stored items.
Preserve ventilation and access
Leave the rear and sides clear enough for heat management, inspection and safe removal of the machine if service is required.
Prove filter and pipe access
Show how both replacement filters and every visible connection can be inspected, removed and refitted after the kitchen returns to normal use.
Check electrical capacity
Use an accessible, properly earthed 220–240 V supply suitable for the 2,100 W heating and 125 W cooling loads.
Installation record
Document the complete connected route.
The record should make future maintenance understandable without exposing private customer or property details.
Record position and connections
Keep the home type and general area, counter measurements, model, inlet, isolation, drain and power locations, proposed date and responsible installer.
Approve work before drilling
Obtain owner, landlord, JMB/MC or renovation-contractor approval where plumbing, cabinetry or shared-property rules apply. Public image consent is separate.
Test every output and route
Dispense ambient, cold and hot water; inspect for leaks; observe the reject-water route; prove filter access; and record any adjustment before closing the work area.
After installation
Keep connections visible and maintenance scheduled.
A tidy installation should still be easy to inspect, isolate and service.
Retain the installation record
Keep proof of purchase, model and serial details, photographs of the final route and warranty information.
Follow both filter prompts
Replace at capacity or time, whichever comes first: PAC 2,100 L or approximately six months; RO+ACF 3,000 L or one year.
Record changes before service
If flow, temperature, display, taste, leakage or drainage changes, photograph the screen and connections before moving tubing, then contact Velta Malaysia.
