The Velta difference

Better water. Visible performance. Simple upkeep.

RO goes beyond carbon filtration, TDS lets you check performance, and filter reminders tell you when replacement is due.

Three ways to choose Velta

Start with the water you want.

The right model depends on the water you want—sparkling, temperature-controlled or ambient—and whether it belongs on the counter or under the sink.

Malaysia range note: HydroFirst+ is an additional plug-and-fill RO purifier with inlet/outlet TDS, separate PCB and RO replacement indicators, and a replacement interval of up to 3,600 L / 12 months.

How the stages work together

Every filter has a job.

Sediment filters catch particles, carbon improves taste and smell, RO reduces dissolved matter, and the final stage finishes the water.

01

Catch the particles

Sediment and composite pre-filters catch suspended particles and help protect the RO membrane.

02

Improve taste and smell

Activated carbon reduces chlorine-related tastes and smells before or after the RO stage.

03

Reduce dissolved matter

Pressure moves water across the RO membrane, separating filtered water from a reject stream.

04

Give the water a final polish

Depending on the purifier, post-carbon, ACF or outlet UVC completes the treatment path.

Why reverse osmosis

What RO changes in your glass.

RO reduces dissolved matter that carbon alone does not address. The surrounding stages catch particles, improve taste and finish the water.

Physical particles

Tiny particles, filtered out

Membrane filtration creates a fine physical barrier for suspended particles and microscopic matter, including microplastics.

Dissolved matter

Less dissolved matter

RO reaches beyond sediment filtration to reduce dissolved salts, TDS and selected metals.

Persistent chemicals

Helps reduce PFAS

PFAS are persistent synthetic chemicals often called “forever chemicals”. The US EPA lists point-of-use RO among technologies that reduce certain PFAS compounds.

Taste profile

Better taste and smell

Activated carbon reduces chlorine-related taste and odour for cleaner-tasting water.

Frequently asked questions

Choosing a Velta RO water purifier.

01

Why does Velta use reverse osmosis in every core purifier?

RO can reduce a broader range of dissolved substances than sediment and carbon filtration alone. Velta pairs it with pre-filters that protect the membrane and a final stage that refines the water.

02

How can I see my purifier working?

The TDS reading on the appliance gives an immediate view of RO performance. HydroSpark+ shows one value in settings, HydroForm+ provides a live TDS reading, and HydroView+ compares inlet and outlet readings at the faucet.

03

Which Velta water purifier should I choose?

HydroSpark+ provides sparkling, cold, ambient and hot water; HydroForm+ provides connected hot, cold and ambient water; HydroView+ supplies ambient drinking water from an under-sink system with a clearer worktop. HydroFirst+ is the compact Malaysia-only option; confirm its current details on the product page.

04

Do all three core purifiers use the same filters?

No. All three use reverse osmosis, but their cartridges and final stages differ. Each model has its own filters, replacement schedule and water output.

05

What does the 0.0001 µm figure mean?

It is the nominal scale of the reverse-osmosis membrane used across the core range. It describes how finely the membrane is engineered to separate water from dissolved and microscopic matter.

06

Does reverse osmosis remove everything from water?

No single filter removes everything. RO reduces a broad range of dissolved substances, while sediment, carbon and model-specific finishing stages do the rest of the work.

07

How do I maintain a Velta water purifier?

Follow the appliance reminder and replace cartridges at the stated capacity or time interval, whichever comes first. Timely replacement keeps every stage working as intended.
